The Biggs Museum offers a variety of ways for children and families to engage with art and our collection! Below you can find more information about our Biggs Kids workshops, special children’s programming, activity booklets, and camps!
Biggs Kids
Stop by the Biggs every first Saturday of the month for free admission to the museum and art projects for families. Past Biggs Kids workshops can be found here: https://www.biggsmuseum.org/biggs-kids/ .
Child HELP Studio
The Biggs’ open studio program offers younger visitors – and those young at heart – a space to imagine their own art projects and participate in self-led activities that relate to our collection and current exhibitions. The studio is filled with all the supplies needed for active play and family-friendly exhibits.
Read and Make Adventures
Go on a Read and Make Adventure with the Biggs this summer! In partnership with the Dover Public Library, join us to listen to stories and music, create hands on craft projects and learn about featured pieces of art from our collection in a kid-friendly way!
All Read and Make Adventures are from 1:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Cost: FREE
This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities”
