It’s Almost Time For Our Next ArtVenture!
Keep your child’s creative momentum going all summer! At the Biggs ArtVenture Camps, nurture your young artist’s talents with plenty of fun hands-on projects and the opportunity to make friends with similar interests in a small group setting. With topics like science, world art, and the very popular “Let’s Get Messy,” each session is designed especially for students in age groups ranging from 6-13 years old. Aspiring artists and innovators can spend a week exploring the Biggs Museum, learning art techniques, and turning art into ArtVentures. Camps run in weekly sessions. Each full-day camp is led by specially-trained museum staff.
Members – $250; Non-Members – $300 per session

Let’s Get Messy
Inspired by the experimental nature of Modern and Contemporary artists, this camp comes with a warning of “Don’t try this at home. Not for the faint of heart.” Campers will get to unleash their free spirits and learn a range of art mediums and styles from traditional clay sculpting to throwing paint. Topics will rotate between the history of art, art around the world, and art being made today but one thing will stay constant… it will get messy.
The Magic of Art + Science
By popular demand, our Science of Art Camp has been adapted for a younger audience! The Magic of Art + Science is a STEAM camp that explores the many types of sciences used in creating art. Campers will conduct a range of scientific experiments through their art making.
A World of Art
Campers can expand their knowledge of art as they explore and create art inspired by art through time and around the world. Campers will learn about art from every continent and develop skills in drawing, painting, and sculpting. Campers will learn different techniques and media as they create their own masterpieces.

Here’s What Last Year’s Parents Had to Say:
Thank you to the Biggs Museum of American Art for an amazing week at art camp! Natalie had the best week ever! She had such a good time that she cried when I picked her up at the end of her last day today. She made great friends she didn’t want to leave! She worked with so many different mediums and created so many amazing pieces. Each day was a different theme and each day she came home to tell me all about that day’s theme! So glad she had the opportunity to do what she loves for 5 full days.Allison Rubacky Kahn
I have to give a HUGE shout out to the Biggs Museum of American Art and Kristen Matulewicz. Ashton attended art camp there last week and had the best time. Camp was well organized and full of great activities. We were super pleased with the experience. We will definitely be signing her up again.Devon Wrede Hoerner
