The Biggs Museum Board of Trustees, Gala Committee, and 2012 Honorary Chairs Senator Chris and Annie Coons and Mike and Jane Castle are pleased to announce the Twentieth Anniversary Biggs Museum Gala: An Affair with the Arts, to be held at the Museum on Saturday, May 19.

Regarded as one of the premier fundraising events in Dover, The Biggs Museum Gala attracts more than 400 enthusiastic friends and supporters. The Gala is designed to bring in substantial revenue that directly supports temporary exhibitions and educational programming for the forthcoming year.

Beginning at 6 p.m., guests enjoy cocktails, gourmet food, a silent auction and dancing with live musical entertainment. Deja Groove from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will be joining us for the first time at the 2012 Gala to musically enchant our guests. The showmanship and talent of this dynamic group guarantees to yield the right blend of music to have all guests on the dance floor. Caffé Gelato of Newark, Delaware will be serving delectable fare that is sure to delight everyone’s taste buds.

For twenty years, the Biggs Museum has been fulfilling its organizational mission to make art directly accessible to the community. Since 1994, the Museum has hosted tens of thousands of visitors from around the country and around the world. Throughout twenty spectacular years of art, education, community and growth, the Museum is celebrating its recent expansion with a celebration at the 2012 Gala!
