A highly anticipated part of the Biggs Museum Gala each year is the Silent Auction. The proceeds raised from the Silent Auction make up a large percentage of the entire proceeds raised at the Gala. Making a donation to the Silent Auction is an excellent way to support the Biggs Museum Gala.
The Silent Auction includes both art-related and leisure items. Items in the past have included:

Smaller-scale paintings

Dining, Hotel, and Retail Store Gift Certificates

But the possibilities are endless!
In addition to the Silent Auction, the fourth annual Gala will include our first ever Biggs Beach Bonanza Raffle. The winning prize for the raffle is a week stay in a 3 bedroom home in Ocean Pines, MD. We are currently seeking donations of gift certificates and accessories to add to this package to make the winning prize more attractive. Ideas for raffle items include:

Your participation in the Silent Auction will be recognized in the Gala Program Booklet and also on our web-site before the event. In support of the local artist community, we are proud to offer a 60/40 commission split from the sale of your Silent Auction item.
If you would like to submit a donation, please return the Silent Auction Donation Form to the Administrative Offices by April 25, 2008. This will insure item listing on the web-site prior to the event. Donated works must be received by Friday, May 9, 2008.
