The generosity received from our many friends and benefactors allows the Biggs Museum to continue its mission to developing awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the fine and visual arts and their impact on our culture. With this support, the Biggs Museum is able to provide year-round programming and exciting exhibitions to the public. We are grateful for all donations, in any shape or form.

Donations to the Annual Fund provide an important foundation for learning and exploring that takes place daily at the Biggs Museum of American Art. Your gift, in any amount, provides support for keeping the Museum open and accessible, staffing the galleries and welcoming visitors daily. Please make a 100% tax deductible gift of $50 today to the Annual Fund to ensure that Biggs Museum will continue to grow throughout the year. Your gift will allow the Museum to direct resources to the areas most in need within the organization.

Our Gift to You
When you make a 100% tax-deductible donation of $50 or more to the Annual Fund, you will receive a free ChicoBag. Show your support for the Museum by carrying one of our blue compact, eco-friendly reusable bags with the Biggs Museum logo. All Biggs Museum ChicoBags carry up to 40 lbs. and come neatly folded in a small pouch for easy traveling.
The Biggs Museum serves as a community resource not only to educate and inspire but also to enhance the quality of life for the community. Programming is offered throughout the year to sustain the Museum’s role as a dynamic venue for education and enjoyment.
All contributions made to the annual fund are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Contributions to the Annual Fund are not associated with Museum Membership.
Exhibition Sponsorship
Exhibitions at the Biggs Museum inspire and educate visitors of all kinds. Sponsorship of one of these exhibitions not only helps provide the funding necessary to make such ambitious endeavors successful, but also serves as a unique vehicle through which you can increase your organization's visibility to a diverse national and international audience. At the same time, exhibition sponsorship will reveal to the community your support for this organization in the community.

Stock or IRA Donations
The museum gratefully accepts donation of stock or IRAs. You may benefit from tax-deductions and/or reduced income taxes. Contact the Biggs Administrative Offices for more information.
Donations of Works of Art
Make a donation that will last generations. The Biggs Museum is always happy to consider donations of works of art. If you wish to donate a work of art that fits within the museum’s collecting mission, please contact the museum curator, Ryan Grover.
A time when an institution must evolve in dramatic ways in order to meet its growing responsibilities and fulfill its long term goals. That time has come for the Biggs Museum. In January 2010, a strengthened partnership with the State of Delaware granted the Museum, in perpetuity, full use of the entire building that it has resided in for eighteen years. This invaluable gift has increased operations by over 3,500 square feet, an increase of 50%. The Museum has harnessed this opportunity with pioneering spirit to begin taking advantage of the new physical spaces to fulfill long-term goals and serve its public in a greater capacity. The Biggs Museum is embarking on a $1.864 million campaign to expand and renovate the building at 406 Federal Street. A project of this magnitude would not be possible without the support of the entire community. The Choptank Foundation has committed nearly $900,000 to The New Biggs campaign and is inviting new partners in this opportunity. Join us now as we prepare the Biggs Museum for this transformation.
