The Fourth Annual Gala, to be held Saturday, May 17, 2008, is an affair to remember and has become a much anticipated Spring tradition in Dover. This anchor fundraising event, by design, is a celebration that raises public awareness and funds in support of an exquisite collection of Delaware Valley paintings and objects from 1700 to the present with related exhibitions and educational programming.
Once a year we celebrate the arts and their impact on our culture with our community, patrons and friends, both old and new. This extraordinary evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, buffet dinner and a silent auction of art objects produced by regional artists showcases the Biggs Museum and celebrates its special role in our community and on the Delmarva Peninsula.
Tony Berry & New Money from Baltimore, Maryland will be joining us for the first time at this year’s Gala to musically entertain and enchant our guests. The showmanship and talents of this dynamic group guarantees to yield the right blend of music to have all guests on the dance floor. Their music and style appeal to every generation and promises to highlight the evening’s festivities.
We invite you to explore our opportunities to support the Biggs Museum Gala. Whether it be an advertisement in the program booklet, a donation to the Silent Auction or simply celebrating alongside us at the Gala, we thank you in advance for your support.
