Accessibility
The Biggs Museum is fully wheel chair accessible. Elevators are located on all floors of the museum building. There are also handicapped parking spaces available in the museum parking lot.
Restrooms for visitor use are located on the first floor of the Delaware Visitor’s Center.
Thank you for your help in maintaining a safe environment for visitors and works of art.
• Please help us preserve the art for future generations—please do not touch the works of art.
• Place all backpacks, large bags, baby backpack carriers, and umbrellas at the front desk in the museum. (This includes purses, bags, or diaper bags 11 x 15" or larger.)
• Please limit your cell-phone use to the Lobby area and turn off when in galleries.
Delaware is proud to be a smoke-free state. Thank you for not smoking indoors.
• Flash photography is not permitted in the Biggs Museum.
• Sketching is welcome in the galleries with dry media (pencil only). Artist working with wet media must obtain permission.
• Strollers are welcome but may be restricted during peak times. A baby changing station is available in the restrooms.
