This series will explore drawing as a vehicle for the examination, and observation, of the human form. Emphasis will be placed on anatomical structure and formal drawing elements. Experimentation with scale, media, and process will allow for the development of a unique and personal expression. The goal is to strengthen facility, develop clarity of intention, and expand expression. Techniques and processes developed by various artists including examples from old and modern masters, as well as contemporary artists will be discussed. Live models will be provided. Pre-registration required. A full program description and supplies list will be provided during registration. Please bring lunch.
