York College art instructor, JoAnne Schiavone (http://joanneschiavone.com/bookarts7.html), will teach participants to design and paint so-called “paste papers,” among the earliest decorative papers used in book making. Papers can be used for a variety of purposes. While it is not necessary to take both courses, there is a complimentary course by the same instructor in Wednesday, March 23rd. Materials are included and yours to keep, open to all skill levels.
