Author Leonard S. Marcus is a renowned historian and critic and one of the children’s book world’s liveliest writers and speakers. His highly acclaimed books about children’s literature and the authors and artists who create them include: Show Me a Story!; Golden Legacy: How Golden Books Won Children’s Hearts, Changed Publishing Forever, and Became an American Icon Along the Way; and Minders of Make-Believe. Marcus joins us to discuss Sendak, his work and the impact it had on Children’s Literature. A reception will be held at the Biggs Museum at 6:00. The presentation will follow at the Dover Public Library at 6:45pm.
