Event: Biggs Kids:Percussion Puppets with Guillermo Silviera
Date: Saturday, October 4
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Price: Free, Children Ages 5-10
Description: Award winning composer Guillermo Silviera, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, is one of the most commissioned, prolific and fascinating composers of his generation. His works are performed throughout the world. Mr. Silviera will aid the children in creating their own puppets and original songs to be performed at the conclusion of the program.
Pre-registration is Required.
Event: Pumpkin Decorating at the Biggs
Date: Saturday, October 25
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Price: Free, Children Ages 12 and under
Description: Participants are invited to decorate a pumpkin, with supplies provided by the Museum. All those pre-registered by October 22nd will receive a free pumpkin to decorate, courtesy of Fifer Orchards. Those not pre-registered, can supply their own pumpkin. Seasonal refreshments will be served.
