Current Exhibitions

Opening on August 10, 2005 is Award Winners V – the fifth annual exhibition commemorating the diversity of Delaware 's visual and performing artists. Every year the Delaware Division of the Arts honors the achievements of select area artists with fellowships and exposure (see Artline , March/April 2005 issue). Artist Fellows are invited by the Biggs Museum to exhibit and perform their works in a group showcase of the Division's competition winners. Award Winners V features visual, musical, and literary artists. There are 16 Award Winners, making this the largest exhibition and programming series yet offered. (click here for more information)

Showcasing works by artists living and working in the Greater Delmarva Peninsula

An opportunity for photographers, both amateur and professional, to exhibit their work in one of Delaware 's premier art museums. The Biggs museum, centrally located on the peninsula, specializes in fine and decorative arts made and used in Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic region from 1700 to the present. The museum showcases several changing exhibitions of contemporary and historical significance every year. (click here for application)
