Communal drinking vessels and other European ceramics, some of which date back to the 1600s and the original 13 American colonies, have often been discovered at different archaeological sites throughout Delaware. Other early ceramics used in Delaware include slipware, glazed earthenware, stoneware, and porcelains from local producers, Europe, and Asia.
