Directions to the Museum
From Northern Locations (Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, NJ, and NY)
Take I-95 South towards Baltimore. Take Exit 4A (Christiana Mall Road) and merge onto Route 1 South toward Dover. Continue on Route 1 South for approximately 40 miles (tolls). Take exit 98 (Little Creek/Downtown Dover). Turn right onto Little Creek Road/RT 8. Turn left onto US-13 South. Turn Right onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Bear right around Legislative Hall and proceed straight through two stops signs. The museum will be ahead at the Federal Street intersection.
From Southern Locations (Delaware Beach Resorts, Sussex County)
Take Route 1 North toward Dover. Use Exit 95 towards South Bay Road. Follow S Bay Rd and make a left onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Remain on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd to your destination. The museum will be on your left.
From Southern Locations (Salisbury, MD, Seaford, DE)
Take US-13 North towards Dover. Make left onto South State Street. Make right at North Street. Museum will be on your right at the first stop sign.
From Western Locations via Chesapeake Bay Bridge(Chestertown, MD, Washington D.C., Baltimore)
Take US/50 301 and cross Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Continue on US 301. Turn right at MD-300/Sudlersville Road. Turn right at Everetts Corners Road/SR-44 (continue for 10 miles). Turn left at Halltown Road/SR-8 (continue for 7 miles). Follow SR-8 towards Dover. Make Slight Right onto Forrest Avenue/ SR-8. Make right onto Federal Street. Museum will be ahead on your right.
From Western Locations via I-95 (Washington D.C., Baltimore)
From I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway), take I-95 North toward New York. Take Exit 4a (Christiana Mall Road) and merge onto Route 1 South toward Dover. The Biggs Museum offers a limited number of free visitor parking spaces directly in front of the building. Additional free, short-term parking can be found on Legislative Mall.
